“Ozempic Face” is a term coined by cosmetic and celebrity dermatologist Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank, a renowned cosmetic and celebrity dermatologist. This term refers to the side effects caused using Ozempic, a diabetes medication used for weight loss. The side effects may include more lines and wrinkles, loss of fat, facial sagging, a hollowed-out appearance, and lipodystrophy. The ideal treatment for “Ozempic Face” is facial fillers. I think fat transfer to the face is also a viable treatment option. In my practice, I have seen patients with “Ozempic Face” for whom I have recommended facial fillers to improve their condition.
